SCS Automaberg alongside the community: our contribution to the new social transport service
On 29 November 2025, in Piazza Vittorio Veneto in Brusaporto, the official handover ceremony of the new social transport vehicles took place. These vehicles will support vulnerable individuals, elderly people and children with disabilities who need transport to reach healthcare facilities, rehabilitation, education or social activities. This local social project highlights the value of cooperation with the Municipality, local volunteers and companies that support the community.
Why social transport is a key service
Social transport is essential to guarantee access to services and continuity of care. In a changing demographic context, investing in mobility solutions for vulnerable people helps strengthen social cohesion and local social services.
This type of service enables greater participation in daily life, reduces isolation and reinforces the connection between the local community, institutions and companies involved in social initiatives.
The value of volunteers and sponsors
During the event, the Municipality expressed its gratitude to the volunteers who ensure safe and reliable transport every day. Their work is a key asset in supporting vulnerable individuals.
A special acknowledgment was also given to sponsors and companies that made the donation of the social transport vehicles and the renewal of the fleet possible: a concrete example of collaboration between businesses and volunteers, and of corporate commitment to social impact.
The role of SCS Automaberg in the community
For SCS Automaberg, an Italian mechanical company specialising in finishing and bookbinding equipment, corporate social responsibility is an integral part of its identity.
Supporting initiatives such as social transport means creating value beyond the industrial dimension, providing skills and resources to benefit the local community.
A moment of community and shared responsibility
The handover event was an opportunity to highlight the contribution of all the actors involved: the Municipality, volunteers, associations and companies. The initiative demonstrates how organisations that support the local area can play a strategic role in strengthening community services.
This social transport project is part of a broader path of corporate social responsibility in which SCS Automaberg stands alongside the community, fostering an ongoing dialogue between industry, social services and the local territory.
