After the success at Graphitec , Paris (9-12 June2009 ) , the new “DIECUTTING” had its consent also at Print Chicago – USA (11-16 september 2009 ).
The printing operators are more and more looking for finishing solutions and the answer to their needs had been carried out by our flexible “DIECUTTING”with its 587x784 mm. size
Particular attention to:
- Short set-up times and easy make-ready.
- Quick changeovers by fixed reference for both large and small sizes
- When die-cutting, no nicks between the cut product and the waste, thereby making the execution of the job easier and more precise.
The above improvement in quality are adding thus more value to the finished job
Admirable consensus also for “TRIM & PERF” , already well known on the American market , and for which the finishing operators have re-confirmed their trust in us, admitting the reliability of the production quality of the machinery .

The machine is right now in our production-show room on a demo basis, will be at IPEX as well ( Birmingham May 18th-25th) and You are welcome to watch the machinery running.

Process of the job:

1ST HEAD
From the feeder a sheet of 500 x 700 mm. is introduced (cards printed ) the first head makes the front cut of the strips ( a photocell controls the forward of sheet and stops each time to the offset reference , the blade comes down and cuts the front line , until the last strip is cut ) . This cut is already one finished side of the card.

2ND HEAD
A special multi-up knife tool cuts the finished cards which come out clean ( waste ejection on the 2nd Head) on the shingle delivery belt in five single lines ( no nicks on the cards!). Meanwhile on the first head there is the continuous cut of the strip.
The card may have all the corners rounded during the cutting process.

PRODUCTS : tickets, time cards, labels, visit cards, cards of any size, loyalty cards, smart card, post cards, event cards
Material: coated and laminated thin card board, thin plastic board

SPEED : 5.000 cycles/hour
Taking into consideration 5 cards cut out from the strip, the production is of 25.000 pieces/hour.

Of course the size and number of cards change as for the needs of the customer (the tool will be customized) consequently also the speed will be increased and/or decreased.
